Our Teaching Methods

Patient and Relaxed Instructors

How do we get the points of drivers education across in an effective manner?  Through research, we've found that teens feel more comfortable and will ultimately learn and digest more information when taught by patient and relaxed instructors as opposed to the traditional method of drivers training with an iron fist.  To qualify to become a Drivers Ed Direct instructor we require all applicants to have experience working with teens in some educational capacity.  Whether it's working as a camp counselor, mentoring at a local youth organization or having credentialed teaching experience, we speak to teens, not at them.

Unique Driving Lesson Plan

Our teaching methods are the most advanced in the industry! For instance, we train our students with 'state of the art' driving techniques that deal with today's technologies and highway demands. Our students train with today's vehicles that are equipped with air bags, power steering, navigational systems, and ABS brakes. In addition, we are one of the few driving schools that offer and teach how to safely drive an S.U.V. Furthermore, we teach our students the importance of staying focused on the road in a climate where cell phones, text messaging and navigation systems have become a common driving distraction.

Drivers Ed Direct has developed our own unique driving lesson plan that goes above and beyond the DMV lesson plan requirements. For instance, our driving program offers advanced freeway, canyon and road hazard avoidance. We also lead the way in educating our students about the potential consequences of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
